Nearby Excursions: Nature’s Retreat

Cuernavaca serves as a gateway to natural wonders. Explore the nearby town of Tepoztlán, known for its mystical energy and the Tepozteco Pyramid. Embark on hiking trails, embrace wellness practices, and soak in the tranquil ambiance of this spiritual town.  I have a blog on visiting Tepoztlan. This is a must go visit if you are in Cuernavaca. It is a 40 minute drive to get here.

Gastronomic Delights: Flavors of Cuernavaca

Savor the culinary treasures of Cuernavaca by indulging in traditional Mexican cuisine. From street food stalls offering tamales and tacos to upscale restaurants serving mole and chiles en nogada, Cuernavaca’s dining scene is a gastronomic adventure.  Every state in Mexico has its own take and way of making their cuisine. In my opinion Cuernavaca is one the best regions for cuisine in Mexico..

My words of advice: Avoid eating Tacos al Pastor from a street taco stand. Instead eat these types of tacos at a restaurant and ask them to sear it on the plancha after they slice it from the Trompo. If not, your tastebuds will be happy, but your stomach will not. You will want to stay healthy during your vacation. Also words to live by when in Mexico: If you can’t peel it or cook it- don’t eat it

With all that fear, it’s much easier to stay at home in our comfort
zones than to break out and travel.

  • One of the highlights of Jardines de México is the Floral Clock—a magnificent timepiece adorned with vibrant flowers that change with the seasons. As the hands of the clock move, so too does nature’s vibrant palette, offering a visual spectacle that evolves throughout the year.

  •  The Greenhouse: Orchids and Exotic Flora: Step into the Greenhouse, a realm of exotic plants, and a haven for orchid enthusiasts. The diverse collection of orchids
