Must Have Travel Essentials

Packing for a journey a is balancing act between preparedness and simplicity. When assembling your travel essentials, think about your destination, the climate, and your planned activities. Start with the basics: comfortable clothing suitable for the weather, versatile shoes for exploring, and toiletries. Remember, less can indeed be more when you’re on the move, allowing you to focus on the adventure ahead rather than the contents of your suitcase.

Here is a list of my travel essentials:

iPad or Kindle

Not only are these great for the plane, but they also come in handy by the pool or in your hotel room. Having an e-reader or iPad has proven invaluable throughout my travels. I particularly appreciate the larger screen compared to my phone.

A beach blanket

It provides a comfortable and clean surface to sit or lie on, allowing you to relax and soak in the sun without the discomfort of sand Compact, Portable and lightweight and it folds up compactly, making it easy to carry in your beach bag or backpack. They’re a hassle-free addition to your beach essentials.

A beach bag

You can pack towels, swimwear, extra clothes, sunglasses, books, magazines, and more in one convenient bag.

Suitcase/carry-on bag

If you need a new suitcase, I recommend opting for a hardshell. I prefer to purchase a set, which includes both my checked bag and my carry-on. Buying a set is usually a better deal than purchasing them individually.

Backpack

My backpack is essential when I travel. Mine has a zipper that is on the backside so that no one can access the inside of it while I’m wearing it. I keep my essential belongings that I want with me at all times when I travel.

Small Bag

A small clutch or cross body bag is great while I travel. I use this when I’m going out to eat and need something nice. It also great because it’s compact to travel with.

Tennis Shoes

I love my Addidias while I travel. They are great for the Airport and all the walking while traveling. You need something comfortable and pratical and that looks good too!

Sunglasses

Essential no matter which season or climate you are traveling to. Sunglasses is a must have everywhere I go.

Camera

I Need my camera when I travel. You must capture your memories and document your adventures.

Camera Bag

This is essential to protect your camera and keep everything together while you travel.

Fanny Pack

I use this bag when I’m heading to the airport. I keep my passport and money in my crossbody bag, ensuring that my most valuable travel items are close to me to prevent theft.

Makeup Wipes

These are great for traveling. I love the Pacifica brand too.(Free of harsh chemicals: parabens and phthalates) These are essential for travel.

Hydrating Skin Mist

This is great for on the plane, as the air on the plane is so drying nd circulating cabin air. You can mist this over your makeup. Its great everyday too to keep your skin hydrated,

Packing compression bags

These are the best to pack all of your clothes and shoes in. Keeps all of your travel items and clothes compact and organized.

Airtag

It’s a must to have one in each suitcase, backpack, or travel bag. We experienced an unfortunate event while in another country when we inadvertently left our backpack—containing our laptop, money, and credit cards—in the Uber. If you ever lose your luggage, you’ll be able to track it with an AirTag inside.
