  • In the evening, hike up to the Tepozteco Pyramid to catch a stunning sunset over the town and the surrounding landscapes.
  • Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant, experiencing the cuisine of Tepoztlán.

Day 2: Tepoztlán to Tequesquitengo

  • After breakfast, check out of your accommodation in Tepoztlán.
  • Drive to Tequesquitengo, which is approximately a 1.5-hour drive from Tepoztlán.
  • Arrive at Tequesquitengo and settle into your chosen accommodations.
  • Spend the afternoon enjoying water activities at Lake Tequesquitengo, such as kayaking, taking a boat around the lake, or simply lounging by the lakeside.
  • Relax and unwind, taking in the tranquil atmosphere of the lake. Look for skydivers. This place is famous for them.
  • In the evening, dine at a lakeside restaurant, watch the sunset and enjoy the peaceful ambiance.

Day 3: Tequesquitengo to Taxco

  • Enjoy breakfast with a view of the lake before checking out.
  • Depart from Tequesquitengo and drive to Taxco, which is around a 1.5-hour drive.
  • Reach Taxco and check into your accommodation.
  • Spend the day exploring the cobblestone streets of Taxco, visiting the Santa Prisca Cathedral, and wandering through the town’s markets and artisan shops.
  • Don’t miss the opportunity to shop for silver jewelry and souvenirs, a specialty of Taxco.
  • For dinner, enjoy traditional Mexican cuisine at a local restaurant.

Day 4: Exploring Taxco

  • Begin your day with a leisurely breakfast.
  • Continue your exploration of Taxco by visiting any sites you might have missed the previous day, or revisit your favorite spots.
  • Take in panoramic views from the Mirador de la Santa Cruz or other viewpoints.
  • In the afternoon, consider visiting one of the town’s art galleries or museums to immerse yourself in the local artistic scene.
  • Spend your last evening in Taxco relishing the town’s charm and enjoying an authentic Mexican meal.

Day 5: Departure

  • Enjoy a final breakfast in Taxco.
  • Depending on your departure plans, you might have time for some last-minute shopping or a stroll through the town.
  • Check out of your accommodation and bid farewell to Taxco.
  • Head back to Cuernavaca, marking the end of your memorable journey through these beautiful destinations.
